The Gals

I love my girls! It's kind of funny how each one comes from a different point in my life, but they obviously all mean a lot to me!

Kelsey - Maid of Honor

Kelsey is my amazing little sister. Even though she's younger than me by 3.5 years, everyone has always thought she was older than me. It's not really that much fun to be called 17 and have your sister called 20 when it's actually the other way around. When she's not rubbing that in my face, making fun of me because I'm 1/2 inch shorter, or teasing me because of my blonde moments (which she's no stranger to herself even as a brunette!) she's the best sister in the world. We've grown really close over the past few years and I wouldn't trade her for the world (except maybe in those certain sister moments where you can't stand each other....I'm sure you know what I'm talking about!). But seriously, I've been really blessed with an awesome, caring, and fun younger sister, and I'm so happy that she could be my maid of honor.

Kathryn - Bridesmaid

Kathryn and I met for the first time at our transfer student orientation at UNC sophomore year. We didn't really talk then, but over the next week when classes started we figured out we were in like 3 of each other's classes.  This led to us sitting next to each other and eventually becoming really good friends over the next 3 years (and of course trying to get more classes together). We haven't seen each other as much this past year when I moved to San Antonio and she stayed in North Carolina, but it won't be too much longer since Kathryn is moving down to San Antonio to go the same med school as me! It's awesome when things work out like this. :o) She's been a great friend to me and I'm so excited that she will be there on my big day.

Tina - Bridesmaid

Tina and I go all the way back to elementary school in Boca Raton. We hit it off immediately and were practically inseparable while growing up. She's one of those friends that no matter how much time you spend apart, when you see each other again you can pick right back up like you were together that whole time. We have some insanely crazy memories of adventures in Florida (mud diving, sailing across a lake with a T-shirt sail, man hunt, just to name a few!), and I'm hoping we'll continue with new adventures as we get older. She was able to visit in May, and that was the first time we had seen each other in like 5 years, but we had a great time. I'm so excited that she'll be able to make it in December and make one more huge memory!

Michaela - Bridesmaid

I first met Michaela probably 5 years ago when she was dating Tyler's brother, Ryan. We've gotten along since the very beginning, and I'm happy to announce that her and Ryan have been married now for almost a year. Since we moved back to San Antonio, we've been able to hang out with her and Ryan a lot, and we've been having a great time. I feel like I can share anything with her and that we'll be good friends for the rest of our lives, not to mention awesome sisters-in-law. I'm counting on her to help with the transition to becoming the newest member of the Wasieleski family, haha.

The Guys

So we're 3.5 months out and Tyler has only asked 2 of his guys. The good and bad thing is that the one he hasn't asked is his own brother. The good part of that is we know he won't be planning anything else for that day. The bad part is obviously that it's pretty rude not to ask your brother first! I think he at least knows he'll be in the wedding party though. Here are all three of the guys. He still hasn't decided which one will be the Best Man.

Ryan - Groomsman?

Ryan is Tyler's older brother. The two couldn't be more different from each other if they tried, and yet when they're together they act as though they're identical. It's pretty comical actually. Ryan is a very outgoing, funny, and caring guy, who I'm very excited to soon have as my brother-in-law. I know Tyler cares deeply about him and feels very blessed to have him as a brother.  Now that we've been able to live in the same town as Ryan and Michaela for a while, I have a feeling we'll continue to try to live close for the rest of our lives.

Mark - Groomsman

Ok, I had a hard time deciding whether to put his first or last name here since we actually refer to him by his last name, but I thought it'd be better to be consistent with the first names. Tyler and Mark met freshman year on the Duke cross country team. I only met Mark a few times so I can't say too much about him, but I do know that Tyler and him hit it off really well that first year and always enjoyed hanging out together. They had this kind of perverted sense of humor that I can only attribute to them being boys, but they seemed to really enjoy it. He's actually the first one Tyler has asked, which I know means that Tyler considers him to be a good friend.

Will - Groomsman

I'm actually pretty good friends with Will too, so I can attest to him being an all-around great guy. We met on the Reagan High School cross country team. He's a year younger than us, but that didn't stop him and Tyler from becoming really good friends. Aside from a small rough patch when Tyler and I started dating (kind of the whole bros before hos thing), Will and Tyler have had some good times together. They've shared many memories, including the billions of cross country/track practices and meets, trips to Krispy Kreme, Halo, etc. It will be great having him there on the big day.
