Favors

We have decided to make white chocolate snowflake lollipops as our favors. I ordered a candy mold from amazon (mold is called ASSORTED SNOWFLAKES LOLLY Christmas Candy Mold Chocolate from seller CybrTrayd). I'm going to use Nestle Tollhouse white chocolate, which comes in 24oz bags for about $4.00. And the lollipop sticks are only $1.75 for 50 sticks (also from amazon seller CybrTrayd). Then we'll put them in little candy bags, tie them up with ribbon, and add a little self-printer sticker to the front.

Breakdown of the cost:
Candy molds - $2.29 each, bought 4 to make process faster - $9.16
Lollipop sticks - $1.75 for 50, bought 4 packs - $7
Shipping and taxes on the above two items - $11.60
Plastic favor bags - $2.50 for a bag of 100, 2 packs - $5
Sticker sheets (full size) from Avery to put on the bags - $13.60 on Amazon for 15 sheets
Nestle Tollhouse White Chocolate Chip 24 oz bags - $4.00 per bag, about 7 bags for 120 pops - $28
Ribbon (haven't bought, just a guess) - $3.00 for a roll
Total - $77.36
Price per pop for 120 - $0.65

Here is an example of how it will look when it's done! The ribbon on there is just random ones I grabbed, but it will be something like that. I also stupidly put the sticker on after I had tied it up, so I had to put it on higher than I wanted because the bag was all bunched up.

I found these shaped treat bags by Wilton at Walmart for $2.50 for 100 bags. I think these will be perfect for the lollipops.

I'm going to use this white sticker paper from Avery to design stickers to put on the favor bags. They're the full 8.5x11 sheets, and I will just cut out the stickers myself.

Bridesmaid's Gifts

Since I sent my girls links to this website, I'm not going to put any pictures on here until after the wedding since I don't want them to find out exactly what they're getting.

To help with ideas for the rest of you putting together little gifts for your BMs though, I thought I could list a few of the items.

I bought each of them different style earrings that I thought reflected their personality. I was going to get something they could wear for the wedding but then decided this was a little more fun.

I also bought each of them white pashminas. Just got them today and I really love them. They're not very thick and won't keep them very warm if it's too cold out, but for like 60 degrees it might be enough to take the chill away.

I'm also going to add some little goody bag kind of things like tissues, chapstick, chocolate, hand lotion, etc. Just stuff that they might find useful the day-of. I think I might actually give them the presents at the Rehearsal Dinner, but I'll tell them they can bring them along the next day if they want to.

Groom's Gift

I don't think he ever looks at this site (in fact, I'm like 99% sure he doesn't), but just in the off chance I'm not going to post it on here until after the wedding. I haven't actually 100% decided on it, but I have some ideas. Hopefully he'll like them.

Groomsmen's Gifts

No clue. This one is up to Tyler to figure out (ok, not really because I'm sure I'll be the one constantly harassing him until he has it done, and also looking up ideas).

Parent's Gifts

Eeek, I don't know what to get them! We'll probably make them some photobooks after the wedding, but I really would like to get them something before too. I might go up to my parent's house and dig around in their old pictures. I think it'd be cute to find one of me when I was little either  by myself or with them, and then another from my bridals and put it in some picture frame that says something along the lines of "always your little girl" or "thank you for teaching me about life, showing me what it means to be loved, and always being there for me when I needed it."

And for Tyler's parents? Who knows...

OOT Baskets

I wasn't completely sure if we were going to do these since it's just an added expense, but I spoke with my mom and she thought some of our OOT guests would really appreciate it. I think we'll keep it limited to family and really close friends though so the expenses don't go way up.

As far as items in the basket.... probably just the typical visitors brochures (taken from some random hotel I'm sure). We'll probably make up some water bottle and hershey bar labels and put some of those in. We might also add a few Texas things like giant jelly beans, BBQ sauce, TX shaped tortilla chips, etc. Maybe we'll throw in a nice bottle of wine for my grandparents too.
